The story follows Ibuki Kun, who is a childhood friend and the secret bodyguard of Honeka Akabane because killers are targeting her, but while doing this, there is one condition that she cannot know that he is secretly protecting her, at the same time, our guy doesn’t know who the actual enemy is in the classmate, and he doesn’t know where they are.
On the other hand, all the other students in the class think about him, and that he is menacing, they are always scared in the morning after seeing him. They believe that he beat up other students, and two groups of people said they saw him fighting with the Yakuza. It is always like this, everyone who sees them likes to judge them by looks and rumors. They think that he is dangerous; he starts fights, and he gets mad quickly. These are the roles the people around him decided, and yet, he is her bodyguard.

Later in the chapter, we find out how all this actually happened. We see that this all started with a sudden meeting between the leading Yakuza members and Ibuki’s father. This was the online time when Ibuki found out that his father was a former member of the Yakuza Gang, known as the Jingu Gang.

When Ibuki arrives home, his father says that there is someone from the gang wants to meet him. This is none other than the head of Jingu Gang, Masahito Jingu. When Ibuki sees his first time, he wonders why the head of the leading Yakuza Gang wants to meet him, thinking that this might be because yesterday, he beat a guy on the road and assume that he might be from the gang.
After some time, the head of the Jingu Gang approaches him and says that he recently got to know that Ibuki attends the prestigious Sousouji High School, and this is why he has come today to meet him with a request. While giving him the photo of Honeko, he says that she is his Illegimate child, but at the same time, she doesn’t know anything about it, since he put her in foster care when she was a baby, and now she believes that she is a lawyer’s daughter.
Later, the head clarifies that the life of Honeko is being targetted, it is a fight for the hire; when Honeko graduates in the spring of next year, he will retire from the position of Boss, the existence of Honeko was exposed during the battle to decide his successor, and now the powerful people in the gang assume that he will make Honeko his heir, that is why they are trying to kill Honeko, with the best hitmen on their side.
