And for that, he is willing to kill the ruler of the country then and there. The king’s attendants were a little shocked by this development and asked the Queen to intervene, but the Queen only smiled.
Lily was afraid that Vlad would get afraid if it went on for no good reason. As she jumped in to stop the fight, Vlad calmed down and shielded her from the sight of the king; giving the ruler of the country a chance to strike. During the fight, he had to let out his strength at the last moment to stop the king. He was making sure Lily won’t get it as he understood the character of the king by now. And Lily being the one in the way of the strike, he let out his strength.
It will take some time for him to revert from his original form and become human again. He might not be there for the majority of the chapter. And Lily would get in search of him, worrying that he has left her. Though, it will be the king that will have the most problem with the outcome; as he was humiliated.
