Dwayne Johnson Faces A 3 Billion Dollar Lawsuit

Dwayne Johnson, popularly known by the stage name ‘The Rock,’ is a globally recognized boxer and actor. He has done a great deal of hit movies but is majorly identified for his transition from boxing to acting. Johnson is grabbing the headlines recently for a $3 billion lawsuit. The said lawsuit filed by Trenesha Biggers holds some startling names and claims.

Lately, the Rock is not in the news for his new movie release or wrestling championship, but it is the legal trouble that made him appear on the front page. The former WWE star Trenesha Biggers accused Johnson of conspiring to kidnap her and her children. Dwayne Johnson was most recently seen in the film ‘Black Adam’.

WWE Developmental Star and former TNA Impact Trenasha Biggers filed a hefty lawsuit against Dwayne Johnson, government agencies, and many other prominent figures. The lawsuit was filed back in October 2022. Trenasha Biggers went by the name of Rhaka Khan during her famous days in WWE. She filed the case in U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York.

The latest update in the lawsuit against Johnson

As per the recent update on the case, Trenesha Biggers asked to move forward with the lawsuit by covering any court fees in advance. Trenesha Biggers filed a lawsuit covering 48 pages and demanded a staggering $3 billion amount in damages.

Trenesha Biggers will have a tough time winning this case as Briggers still has a bench warrant issued for the former TNA star as per the Texan court documents. Briggers didn’t show up in court in December 2022, for which she is indicted of aggravated kidnapping facilitator and meddling with child custody.

Who is included in the lawsuit?

Although Dwayne Johnson is the renowned personality in the ongoing lawsuit, he is not only the primary defendant. Briggers has dragged the names of various other personalities and government agencies. New Mexico Police Department, the FBI, the El Paso Child Protective Services, Home Depot, Bank of America, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Mick Foley, Michael Jordan, the NYPD, Billy Corgan, Jim Cornette, late Chris Benoit, are among the long list of defendants in the lawsuit.

Dwayne Johnson is among the noted stars of the Hollywood industry, having done blockbuster movies like Jumanji and Fast and Furious. Before being a renowned actor, he was the great professional wrestler of all time. Going by the show name ‘The Rock’, he entered the world of wrestling in 1996 and from then started to win numerous championships and rewards over the journey.

In 2019 he announced he would launch his competitive bodybuilding show along with his ex-wife and business partner, Dany Garcia.

The show was named Athleticon. The decided show was believed to be a competitor of already running shows Joe Weider’s Mr. Olympia and The Arnold Classic. The show was scheduled to launch in October 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia, but unfortunately, it got canceled due to the unfortunate arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dwayne Johnson has left his marks on multifarious occupations apart from being a world-class wrestler and actor.
