Guide for CS-Cart Recurring Payment Access

CS-Cart recurring payment access add-on allows the CS-Cart store admin to choose which recurring payment method should be displayed to the customers.

Apart from that, the admin from the available recurring payment methods can enable a particular recurring payment method for the products as required.

Note: This add-on is a kind of dependency for all other payment gateways that support recurring options. If this module is not installed then recurring will not be working in any payment gateway.

• Admin can manage the recurring payment access from the add-on setting.
• The recurring options is dependent on the payment methods.

After you download the add-on, you get one zip file and the install.txt file. Please read it carefully and follow it.

Now, navigate to the admin backend panel via Add-ons->Manage add-ons. Tap on the cog icon, and then tap the Manual installation option.

Thereafter a pop-up comes up, and on that click on “Local” to browse the zip file. Then click on the “Upload & install” button.

After installation of the add-on, you will find the “Recurring Payment Access” in the list of available add-ons.

After the successful installation of the CS-Cart Recurring Payment add-on, the admin can configure the plugin’s settings.

Now, navigate to the Add-ons section and tap on Recurring Payment Access. Then go to the settings tab.

Here, under the settings, the admin will –

• Choose the recurring payment methods to enable for the products.

After the admin has enabled the respective recurring payment methods, they will be visible on the product edit page as per the snapshot below.

Thereafter, the admin can set the –

• Recurring types as – daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly
• Choose the initial amount for the recurring payment.
• Choose the recurring amount for the product.

Lastly, save the product.

Now, the enabled recurring payment method is visible on the storefront.

On the product listing page, the customer can see that the product is subscription type.

After tapping the Quick View the subscription option is visible to the customer.

Similarly, on the product page as well the subscription option is visible to the customers.

Tapping the Subscription option will bring a pop-up. The customer needs to choose the subscription frequency here and then tap on the Subscribe now button.

Thereafter, at the checkout page, the customer can see the initial amount that needs to be paid.

After making this initial payment for the first time thereafter the customer will be deducted the recurring amount as per the selected subscription frequency.
