The premise of Mama June from Not Too Hot

Pumpkin watches over Alana and Ella while Geno remains nearby since Mama June is unsure about June’s sobriety and what is really behind it. Pumpkin and Josh struggle to handle the situation after Alana is granted custody, which causes their marriage to reach an all-time low.
June and Juno have been ordered to appear in court within 24 hours. After being brought to the hospital, where he is in a diabetic coma, Sugar Bae experiences a medical emergency.
Mama June keeps trying to get in touch with Alana. As a final attempt, Mama June calls Dr. Ish in an effort to get her daughters back. With Jenifer’s knowledge, Sugar encounters Alana at the same time.

As Alana’s health problems grow, Josh is compelled to ask for help finding work after abandoning his previous position. Geno and June’s case has been heard, and a decision has been made. The last season saw June visiting her daughters as her loved one, Pumpkin, gave birth.
At the conclusion of the previous season, Pumpkin is attempting to get custody of Alana. When June moves to Alabama, Pumpkin becomes concerned that she might be using drugs once again.
Alana is one of the five children that Pumpkin and Josh are parenting with the $800 in child support they receive from their mom. Planning for June’s big day with Justin gets off to a bad start when she needs to be sent to the hospital.
The story focuses on Pumpkin’s battle to gain custody of Alana and the alterations it makes to their family dynamic. Pumpkin and Alana argue over the latter’s application for college. Pumpkin acknowledges that Alana’s attitude resembles their mother’s.
In another episode, June will identify the origin of her headaches. Alana develops the practice of cooking healthily. June’s continued drug use has Justin’s mother on edge.
