Mikadono Sanshimai Wa Angai, Choroi is story of the most average you would ever meet, Ayase Yuu. Being average is what is expected of you if you are from an average family. Unfortunately for Yuu, that is not the case. Yuu’s mother, Ayase Subaru, is one of the most popular and brilliant actresses on the planet. We don’t have much information about Yuu’s father, but we can assume he was someone ordinary like Yuu.
Being the son of one of the most influential actresses on the planet meant that people always had high hopes for him. Suffice it to say Yuu remained fairly ordinary most of his life. The only thing Yuu inherited from his mother was her extremely good looks. However, you can’t judge a book by its cover, no matter how beautiful the cover is.
After his mother’s death, Yuu went into the care of Mr. Mikadono, a close friend of her Mother. With his mother’s last words still ringing in his ears, he moves into Mr. Mikadono’s house, not knowing what he is getting into. Turns out that the most popular girls in his school, Miwa, Kazuki, and Niko, are Mr. Mikadono’s children, and he is to live with them in the same house.
As time goes by, he can wear down the Mikadono Sisters and even become quite close to them. He might have gotten a little too close. Soon the sisters start developing feelings for him and even start competing amongst themselves for his affection. Almost like what happens in The Quintessential Quintuplets. However, Yuu is completely oblivious to the sister’s feelings.

Nico is feeling left out as both Kazuki and Miwa have spent quality time with Yuu. Now that she has thought about it, the last time they hung out it was for training. Since Kazuki and Miwa were busy and would be coming home late, Nico decided to ask Yuu out to do something just for the two of them. She musters up her courage and asks Yuu out to a Cafe so they can study.
Yuu was happy to spend time with Nico, and the duo went to the Marguerite Cafe. Once their Yuu starts studying, much to the annoyance of Nico. Since he was unable to read the questions, he pulled up a chair and sat next to Nico making her very flustered. Yuu notices this and offers to take her to someplace fun after they are done studying.
Yuu takes Nico to a sports center, but she isn’t completely on board with his idea. Yuu was somehow able to convince Nico to let loose a bit. They spent the next hour trying all the different activities the Sports Center had to offer. Even though they had a rocky start, Nico was able to enjoy their impromptu date. Kazuki and Miwa were waiting for them at the door, visibly annoyed at Nico. Nico asks Yuu not to tell them about the Sports Center.

In the next chapter, Nico will have to explain to her sisters what they were doing together all this time. Yuu agrees to keep it a secret but is not sure if Nico will be able to keep it from her sisters for long. The sisters are well aware of how they feel about Yuu, but they have not yet established any rules about how they want to proceed with it. They might just figure it out in the upcoming chapter.
