After a long wait, Otoyomegatari, aka A Bride’s Story, is back with its new chapter, chapter 105. The chapter starts in Bombay (India’s State), where we see Smith and Talas looking for a ship so they can return to England. The chapter was nicely made by the author of the manga, Mori Kaoru. In the upcoming chapters, we will see Smith convening his parents for his marriage with Talas.

Otoyomegatari Chapter 105 Recap
The chapter takes place in India at Bombay Harbour (Mumbai in early years was called Bombay). Smith and Talas were looking for a ship to return back to England. At that time in India, the English language was barely spoken by a few people, so Smith had a hard time explaining the ship owner. However, he found some people that spoke a little bit of English. Smith then went to Talas to tell her that he had found someone who spoke a little bit of English and he could take them to England. The ship on which they were traveling was a big one.
Smith told Talas that it wouldn’t be a problem to board Cubar (Talas’s horse) on the ship as it was common to have animals on board. When they boarded the ship, Smith found out that there were no ladies-only cabins on the ship. So he asked Talas if it was okay with her to share one room. Talas didn’t have any problems with sharing a room with Smith.
When the captain took Smith and Talas to their room, they found out it only had one small bed. Smith told the captain that he requested a double bed. But the captain thought that they were married. Smith tried to convince the captain that they were not married and wanted a double-bed cabin, but due to language problems, he didn’t understand it.
So Smith told Talas to use that room by herself and that he would sleep on the open beds in the berth. The ship then departed Bombay to heading England. When they were enjoying watching the view of the sea from the deck, Talas got surprised to see a cat on the ship. Smith told her that the cat was probably the resident cat, which is kept on the ship to check on mice. So they don’t chew the parts of the ship.
Later Talas went to the cabin where Chubar was kept, and when she tried to feed him, the horse refused to eat. Talas reported this to Smith. She told Smith that Chubar was getting worse by the day and needed some fresh air to get better. So Smith talked with the captain of the ship about it. The captain told him that he doesn’t bring him up as long they made sure the deck was clean.
Talas then brings Chubar onto the deck, so it can breathe some fresh air. When Chubar got on the deck, he followed the direction of the cat which was on board. The people on the ship told Smith that the cat thinks of himself as the master of that ship.
