When the emperor finds himself in Lin Mo’s body, he is determined to get back in shape and gather his spiritual energy before his enemy does and manages to get back. In the previous chapter, Lin Mo is traveling on the bus to the base of the mountain. Lin Mo’s strained relationship with Yutang is reflected well in their banter and Yutang’s dismissive and arrogant attitude. Yutang gets up and tells Yanhui to exchange seats with her with the excuse that there’s no space for Yutang since Lin Mo is fat and takes up much more space. Yanhui has no choice but to move forward where she tells Lin Mo that their marriage contract is nothing but a joke, made on the whim of the elders.
As everyone is gathered at the mountain’s base, Lin Mo overhears the men talking about their lack of physical prowess and resistance and that it is extremely hard to climb all the way up to the shrine. Lin Mo struggles quite a lot since their body is not used to extreme physical exercise. Yunshu offers to help Lin Mo climb up, but he rejects her offer, asking her to go on without him and that he will reach the top no matter what.
Lin Mo climbs up at a slower pace and reaches more than halfway to the shrine. Yunshu spots him as she climbs and invites him to have a meal with her. Lin Mo refuses her offer and tells her that he will climb to the top first, no matter what. Lin Mo persistently climbs up and finally reaches the shrine at the top. He notices that Ki gathers at the top of the mountain even though it’s very weak.

Lin Mo makes the decision to stay up near the shrine for a couple of months to get some of his powers back. He books a room at a hotel for two months, determined to become stronger than he is now. Two months later, Yunshu is desperately asking Lin Mo to come back down as she is on her way to pick him up. We see a new and transformed Lin Mo, with a much fitter physical appearance thanking her for coming to pick him up.
